Tonight, Mary and I started working on one of her First Ccommunion gifts. I sat up a table in the storage room in the basement and we are putting together a 1,000 piece puzzle of the Last Supper. Simply amazing how much I had forgotten that you have to learn to pu one of these together. Mary was picking up a handful of pieces and looking through them for one particular piece and making quite a pile of it. Looking through every piece until she found the piece she was looking for and then she would move on to the next piece she was looking for and repeat the process over again. It took a bit of work for me to show her how you had to turn them all right side up and spread all 1,000 pieces out, seperating the edges and really obvious things together until you had them all right side up. Needless to say this will be beautiful fun for the two of us to work on. She does think that we will get three sides done tonight, the last one and some of the middle tommorw (I will be at work) and the last night will be finishing it, so it should take about three days. Well, she is learning after all isn't she?
Under the Mercy,
Matthew S
